Sunday Slay: The Shaggy Faux Fur

Hey Family!

My neice recently gifted me with this Faux Fur vest and i just love how shaggy it is. I wantd the vest to be the star of the show so toned down my fit today.

I've worn everthing before. My denim top is a workhorse. My wideleg pinstripe pants a nice Afrocentric headwrap and my "church" shoes. Lol wit a contrast color of my red bag. Today I just wore a simple pair of striped blue and white earings.

Today we are 33 weeks and 3 days. I feel as if little nugget is growing so big. I have a short torso. I feel the baby everywhere. Let me just say the human body is amazing.

This will be the last wearing of these pants until after baby is born. I almost busted out of the zipper. Haha. But it's a great zipper because it held all day. Lol

    This outfit made me smile. Every pregnant woman should have a shabby vest. The white shagginess and cobalt and bright red are a joyful touch.

    Awesome sauce. Joy is right: every femina gravida should have a shaggy vest! Love the cut, has a nice flare out at the waist.

    Yep, agree, it looks so fun and lovely red, white, blue colours. Pic 6 shows that great flare out Rachy mentions- I noticed that too! Rock those CBHs( child bearing hips, that's what we always called mine with all the 3 pregnancies)

    Delurked- i think I'll have 4 or 5 good years. Before that happens. Hopefully i will instill in her a sense of independence of self and style. I want to dress her in everything and pictures also.

    This is awesome, Ledonna. I have found with my furry vest that you really do need to just settle down and let it be the star. Those things have diva-esque tendencies.  Way to rein it in with the red handbag, though! :)

    Oh baby I know that feeling as I am short there was not a lot of room for my huge boys.. it is so incredible that a person fits inside you . Now I look at my gigantic boys and I can't even believe it .

    What a lovely gift from your niece.  And a wise move to let the vest be the star of this look, the strong pops of color from the top and the bag go very well with this new wardrobe addition.  And 33 weeks already, wow does time fly.
