Hey Family!

So I took a trip yesterday to my OB/GYN and had a hospital tour of the family birthing room. The room was quite nice and so was the staff that I met. This is what I finally ended up wearing.

This dress is very comfortable and light weight along with a denim waterfall jacket my constant Leggins and headwrap. It was a bit of a fustrating day but my family made it better.

I liked this look but when I caught a glimpse of myself in the hospital reflective mirrors I felt as if I looked like evillene from the musical The Wiz. If you have not seen the movie musical you should really check it out.

My neice suggested I do a Beyonce pose. I tried it but if you compare side by sides I think it was an epic failure. Lol I could not even get the right finger up.

My sister on the other hand suggested I looked like a beautiful StingRay floating in the water.

All of these images had me giggling. Sometimes it is comfort and fun over fashion.

    Ledonna, you look beautiful. The dress has such a wonderful weave pattern. Your sneakers are great with their red laces.
    Every expecting mama should a dress like Beyoncé's.

    Queen Bey is cool, but Solange is cooler! I should try and catch The Wiz one of these days. I heard Michael Jackson is amazing as the Scarecrow.

    That's a beautiful dress. Love it with denim and sneaks.

    I really love that dress! And it's perfect with the denim top and tennies. I'm not sure if I've ever seen The Wiz, I've heard the music.

    OK, LeDonna, this is awesome. All of it. Your fit, the hospital, the stingray, Beyonce

    And it wasn't an epic failure. It was God's way of saying that the world can't handle 2 of Beyonce and the world can't handle 2 of LeDonna but the world needs one of each because they are both beautiful and fierce and perfect in their own unique ways

    I love both your dress and your attitude, Ledonna.  If your dress is comfortable as well, that's a big bonus.

    The birthing room also looks comfortable and homely.  It's good that you'll be familiar with your surroundings when the time comes.

    Honestly, for me this is one of your best looks ever because it's super creative and bold but doesn't make me feel left out. That you've included very familiar items like the Converse and a neutral, wearable by all item like the cardigan makes the effect friendly without sacrificing any of your incredible originality.
    I think you look amazing and your sister's comment was brilliant. I wish I thought of images like that.
