  And you are amazing. A good friend of mine went through a labour like that with her daughter. It was brutal! I swear she is still getting over it and her daughter is now 18! Fortunately, it has all been worth it....

  What a JOYful set of photos. She is beautiful and so Alert!  You look great; I'm glad to hear you've been feeling better every day. That said, be sure to pace yourself. The first three months is a marathon, and it is exhausting, even without c-section recovery. That's major surgery on top of baby care. Say "yes" to help. Sending you big hugs and thanks for giving us a little peek into your life with that new, little, sweet baby!

  My son was born two weeks late after a night of labor and then an emergency C section. I feel both your pain and your joy. Zion'Joy is just beautiful and so is her mom!

  Hello Family. I apologize for not answering each one separately. Truly it's narcolepsy my sleep pattern with rest and recovery. Lol I'm lucky enough to have family on the night shift my sister who cares for Zion'Joy from 10 at night until 6 in the morning even though She is a full time teacher. I also have family help during the day. It literally takes a village. Thank you all for the well wishes. Again I'm still here reading and once in a while replying. This is such a needed part of my recovery and a window to the world as im home bound.

  Extreme cuteness!! Wishing you a speedy recovery but be patient and gentle with yourself. I had my daughter at an experienced age with a long labour and emergency c-section too. I didn't bounce back nearly as fast as I thought I should.

  I am just going to come out an say it...though you look amazing and that hat is to die for, I could NOT care less what you are wearing. But that angel, on the other hand, is an absolute stunner with an amazing ability to wear stripes and a tutu.  ;-)
