Stylish mom on the go in the Chi...

Hello Family!

How are you all today? I'm fine thank you for asking. So I wrote a post about how I have events to that are a bit mom and me chic. Trying to realize how to vary and move with an active toddler and what to wear that is still me chic and stain resistant. I posted a link at the bottom of the page.

I asked for suggestions and this was one of the suggested combinations. On this day we were attending a story time sleepy time event. It was suggested that we come in Pjs. I just loved how it looks and the softness of the look.

For myself I wore plazzo pants anf a high low pink/ salmon colored top gray slipper shoes colorful head wrap. A necklace that is a clock and my asian inspired baby bacmv convertible backpack.

The scarf because the weather this past weekend was crazy it was cold it was hot and it was cold and it was hot. And being in that midlife way I'm also premenopausal it's a weird midlife.

Zi'Joy was it one piece fleece jumper with hood. I'm a little bowl star cuz we love those. For outside she wore her down vest and a little hat with the. Fur ball on top of it. Zi'Joy's look except the Hat & shoes was completely thrifted.

I really hope you enjoy reading this. I know I get long winded but thank you for your help and suggestions. It's always having happy and fashionable Journey.

You both look fabulous for the pj event. That combo on you worked really well .........but sorry to say- once again you play second fiddle to the divine Ms Z who just took fashion to the stratosphere with those slippers ;-)
Looked like you all had a great time. Oh how pic #5 is just begging for cheek pinching ( great sign of affection in my family)
With the warm weather here - my heart will go out to you as you pack away Z’s winter wear knowing you will not see her in those items again.
Dang they grow fast. Thank goodness we get to hold onto our stuff longer.
Yeah- menopause is fun to deal with fashion wise. You are correct- layers and scarves to put on and take off quickly.
Hug the munchkin for all of us

Your head wrap is GORGEOUS and I love the pattern mixing with the pants. Zi'Joy looks utterly precious as always.

Zi’Joy is as cute as a button in her fleece jumper and fuzzy slippers, but I’m wowed by you in those shades of pink. So pretty!

Please never worry about the length of your posts. And I love that we get two for one outfits. :) And love watching her grow up. You bring light to this space.

Beautiful spring-y colours on you both, but those little fox slippers are my fave. :)

  • Aida replied 5 years ago

Love how you two are always coordinated in one way or another ^^ Gorgeous head scarf. This outfit looks perfect for a sleepy time story event, and also looks like it'd be nice and easy-breezy for a warmer day too. I also adore all the colors and prints in photo #6 between the clothing and the brightly colored book bindings!

Thank you all for reading and commenting.  As I've said before I'm trying to style Zi as much as I can before she falls back into jeans and t-shirts or style her own way.  I know that peer pressure even in grade school can be harsh so I want to be free with her choices until she can make her own style wise.

I love the little fox slippers the were the best find.
