Out and about...

Hey Family!

I have such a back log of pictures and reading to do. 3 in the morning seem a perfect time to post. Lol

Little Zi'Joy is growing by leaps and bounds. I'm finally coming to the end of my maternity leave. Although I had a difficult pregancy I'm having a wonderful maternity leave. We go to church and also to music, art reading play time at the local library 3 days a week. I've been able to meet a few other moms and day care providers.

This was 0ne of our recent looks for Library time. It has been in the 90s here for the past week. So the goal was to he as put together as possible yet wearing light weight clothing.

I've worn kelly green top and headwrap before for my neices graduation. It's such an airy top. I layered a pretty sheer poncho over it. Denim leggings and denim shoes completed my look. My earings are custom made.

Zi'Joy has the loveliest onsies and hats. She may have 2 wadrobe changes a day.

Picture 12 Baby is growing so fast. Let's see we also attended a local Fleek Market event. Our outfits were lovely. I'll have to recreate them soon. It was to hot to take to many pictures.

The heat would not let us be great.

Picture 10 Zi'Joy had her 2 months shots this week in the purple fit. Little one was a champ with those. Mommy cried more.

Picture 11 was at church this past sunday. I choose to wear baby in the baby wrap called a moby wrap. I love it and so does baby nugget.

13 is her 1st night sleeping throughout the night. I am so happy.

As ALWAYS I love feedback or just stoping in to say whats up.

Be well on your journey.

Nice to see you Ledonna!. You look fantastic in kelly green! I like that top-poncho-headwrap combination a lot. Zion Joy is such a pretty baby! And very stylish too. I love her collection of hats.  I find her particularly adorable in the yellow hat. Yellow is her color!

  • Suz replied 3 years ago

What a gorgeous outfit, Ledonna! Wow! I love how the curve on the top provides structure for this look -- this is one of the most interesting and unique "dress or tunic" over pants looks I have seen. You're a master stylist. Also love those accordian pleats along the sides...floaty and crisp! Beautiful.

Zi'Joy is a beauty. So glad you are enjoying this precious time with her.

MY WORD. Motherhood was made for you. You have never looked better - and Nugget is a gem. Just like her Mama.

  • ClaraT replied 3 years ago

Love your colorful style. And oh that sweet little baby!!

  • Joy replied 3 years ago

You are shining at being a mama. You and little Zi'Joy look gorgeous. I love the green on you and Zi'Joy in #10 could not be more precious. Taking notes as a baby girl is expected in the family. Any advice on baby girl wear that is not princess -themed?

  • Summer replied 3 years ago

Gorgeous pictures, Ledonna.  You and little Nugget seem to be having a wonderful time together.
Agreeing with Joy that picture 10 is just beautiful.  What a little sweetie!

    Hey everyone,

Joy. I try to stay away from overtly girly themes. I like the grnder neutral for kids. I shop both the boys and girls section. I will put a cute headband on a more "boyish" style hat. I look for warmer tones or colors and pops. Just like ours as adults. Congratulations on the new addition.

ClaraT thank you so much. Lol

Angie I'm suprised myself as how much I'm enjoying mommyhood.

Suz I loved thr whole aspect of floaty drape.

Sisi it's nice to see you also. I just love the grerm happiness factor 100

Your photos always make me so happy!  Zi'Joy in the purple flower hat just made my heart go ZING!  So glad you're enjoying maternity leave and growing the mother-daughter bond.  You're looking fantastic, by the way.  Do you have your normal feet back now?  :)

  • Jane replied 3 years ago

Just a delight! Such great looks. I love the vibrant green. Lovely!

  • Elle replied 3 years ago

You look great in all your pictures.  Your happiness shines through.  I particularly love the kelly green poncho - head wrap.

Congratulations on the baby sleeping through the night! It's such a relief isn't it.

  • SandyG replied 3 years ago

Waving hi, and enjoying the photos. Congrats on the sleeping through the night! That's a big step for everyone. You both look fab :)

  • La Pedestrienne replied 3 years ago

I like gender neutral kids clothes too! 3yo DS is wearing purple tie-dye today. ;)

Also -- wow, you look AMAZING in that green. Such a great color.

Love your orange Moby, too. :)

  • rachylou replied 3 years ago

    Great layering!

  • JAileen replied 3 years ago

I love her little hats. BYW, my dad said we slept through the night almost immediately. My mom disagreed, though.

  • JuniperGreen replied 3 years ago

You and your little one look fab!!!  (That kelly green color is gorgeous on you, too!)

  • merwoman replied 3 years ago

Gorgeous! And what a milestone you've reached - sleeping through the night!

  • Aquamarine replied 3 years ago

Oh Yay! Nugget photos! I laughed out loud at her 2x a day outfit changes....a YLFabber in the making, I think!

  • Joy replied 3 years ago

Just WOW! Off the scale amazing. Little baby nugget is sooooooo super gorgeous - I could just eat her up!!!!!! Angie took the words right out of my mouth, Motherhood was indeed made for you. You look radiant and super stylish. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures Ledonna.

So good to see you both. I adore your outfit with the green and the drapy pleats, and also the one on the hot day in the park with the flower on your top/dress. I love the way you are dressing her. She is incredibly cute.
For Joy and for you, after mentioning it on Greyscale's thread I decided to get "Cinderella ate my daughter" out of the library and have read it. It was fascinating about the "princess" stuff and all the pink. Glad you will bring her up to be strong and capable like you! I was intrigued at the differences from when my first daughter was born in 1991 to the author's daughter being born in about 2001 I think- so much more pink stuff in 10 years.

  • Ledonna N. replied 3 years ago

Jenni NZ i wonder why we even have to be so specific with the norms. Baby nugget has a room of greens blues browns and pinks.

AmyIsabella thank you so much. I'm loving it so much more than i ever thought. Granted I'm new none the less it is a good feeling.

MsGreer, AuquaMarine, Merwoman, JuniperGreen, Rachylou, Jane, Summer thank you all so much. This is a reall bonding time and i love that fashion can be part of this journey.

La Pedestrian i love the moby so much and want more. Lol purple tye-die sounds awesome. Plus it's the color of royality.

Joy love gender friendly clother until she can decide what she wants to wear.

SandyG and Elle. Im so happy i wish i could enjoy. Lol i have a qtip i run alon the bottom of her foot so i can make sure she is breathing.

Jaileen sometimes daddy's memories are fuzzy lol. Thank you for sharing.

Xtabay thank you so much and that is a great question. I've not even tried. I will and will get back to you. Ive been wearing the same shoes over and over.

Joy you are so welcome. Congratulations on the soon to be little one. I know she well bring much JOY.

  • Ledonna N. replied 3 years ago

Xtabay. Some shoes i can fit back into comfortably and most i cannot. Im gonna give it until the middle of summer. If i cannot fit into them. I will be donating.

  • Momo replied 3 years ago
