Hey Family!!!

Long time no post. Well just wanted you to know that we are still here still growing as Toddler & Mid Life Melanin MaMa. Someone told me I'm part of a sandwich generation where I'm taking taking care of a baby boomer and a baby ( toddler) do as you can see I have my hands full.

I really love these outfits for us and we do the similar looks or the twin looks. I in my head wrapping my daughter in the stylish camouflage pink and white hat. This was a good day. I plan to post more in the future but don't really hold me to that but it's great seeing you all and seeing all the new people and all of our seasoned veterans.

    Your daughter is way more stylishly dressed than my kids were at that age. Love the photos. Happy when you pop in. Sorry you are being sandwiched. Remember to take care of yourself.

    Good to see both of you! Is Zi’Joy starting to voice her opinions about what she wears? I remember my youngest would not wear overalls when he got to be about 2.

    love your kinda twinsie outfits. My 12 year old daughter still likes when we do something similar but not to similar.

    My goodness she is growing fast... but still as cute as ever.

    It feels like it was just yesterday as I look back over my fashionable Journey with my daughter and my pregnancy and you all supporting me it's just been really awesome of this is a safe space and I don't mind sharing my daughter here it's such a blessing.

    I love being a mama I mean it has its moments but the joy out outweighs the the moments.

    Summer in Chicago has been beautifully hot not that I'm complaining it's been in the 90s which is very hot here in Chicago. And today was our first break in the in the weather and wouldn't you know it working mom issues today in rain we were planning for the beach but we went anyway.

    My mom when I was a kid took us out in the rain to play on summer humid days in our swimsuits and we would just have so much fun so I said forget it and let's do this I looked like a bag lady taking so much stuff to the beach but it was well worth it I will share a few pictures because it was our annual headwrap day also and I wasn't going to miss that I posted about in the past but thank you all for reading and looking.

    I don't know you well, but I have to say that your little one is just THE sweetest thing ever. I am also an older mum over 40 with a toddler, and its tiring but worth it. Keep posting these gorgeous updates when you have the time :-)

    Lol about “bag lady” going to the beach. I remember those days well! These days my young man carries the heavier things & is taller than me.
